Margaret A. Robertson is an attorney with the law firm of Gust Rosenfeld with a specialty in real estate law. Prior to locating to Arizona, Robertson was in private practice in New York, where she provided legal and business representation to small, women-owned and minority-owned businesses. She was also a Special Professor of Law at Hofstra University, where she taught Real Estate Finance for three years. Robertson served as Budget Director for Nassau County, preparing the county's operating four-year plan and a capital budget in excess of $2B dollars. Before working for Nassau County, she served as in-house counsel to the Town of Hempstead Department of Planning and Economic Development. Robertson is a C.P.A. licensed in New York and for several years was employed by Met Life Insurance Company as a staff accountant, financial analyst and supervising auditor. She holds a Juris Doctorate degree and B.B.A. from Hofstra University and an MBA from Fordham University.
