Nobumichi Hara is Goodwill’s vice president of Human Capital. With more than 25 years of human resources management experience in various industries, Hara has worked directly with CEOs and Boards to deliver significant improvements in human resources management for growing companies. Through a creative and innovative approach, he has garnered national and local best practice awards including “Best Employer to Work For” and “Best Employer for Employee Financial Security.” Hara has also served as a board member for various non-profit organizations such as the United Way and Physician Hospital Community Organization where he held tenure as both vice chair and chair. Hara received a Bachelor’s and an MBA degree from the University of California, Long Beach and holds a Senior Professional Human Resources designation.
