Youth Services Workforce Connection Youth Programs
Phoenix Workforce Connection (PWC) and Maricopa Workforce Connection (MWC) programs are comprehensive, year-round services that assist youth ages 14 to 21 in the City of Phoenix and Eastern Maricopa County. Programs are designed to aid youth with barriers to employment by providing assistance in the following areas: leadership development, educational assistance, occupational skills training, mentoring, job placement, summer employment, case management, work experience, guidance and counseling, career exploration, and follow-up services. The MWC and PWC programs are offered at the following locations:
PWC - 16th Street & Van Buren (Central Phoenix)
MWC - 735 North Gilbert Road (East Valley)
MWC - 2039 West Guadalupe Road (East Valley)
MWC - 805 East Guadalupe Road (East Valley)
MWC - 930 North Alma School Road (East Valley)
Maricopa Youth Alliance (MYA) The Maricopa Youth Alliance (MYA) program is a year-round, comprehensive program that assists juvenile offenders with education and employment services within Maricopa County. The focus of this program is obtaining employment in high-growth industries, including retail, hospitality and healthcare.
The MYA program is offered at the following location:
16th Street & Van Buren (Central Phoenix)
Summer Youth Work Experience Program (City of Phoenix):
The Summer Youth Work Experience Program (SYWEP) is designed to increase work readiness skills and employability of youth in the community. The SYWEP program provides assistance with summer employment, support services, and limited case management during the summer months. Participants must reside in the Phoenix area, and be 14 to 18 years of age.
